The DuraTech Model 9013 Industrial Grinder, with it’s massive construction and many features is in a CLASS ALL BY ITSELF. It is powered by an electronic 950 HP (708.4 kw) C27 CAT Diesel Engine. The 9013 is capable of grinding tree stumps at the rate of 350 cyph (267.59 cumph) with the 950 HP engine.
The self-cleaning screen, combined with the enclosed engine compartment, reduces maintenance and noise and provides for flexible positioning of the grinder. The door on the screener and the three doors per side on the engine compartment provide easy access to the radiator, oil coolers, and engine for servicing.
The 9013F command console features master engine controls, gauges, and shutoff. Also included on the command console are electric over hydraulic controls for the clutch, governor, and stacking conveyor. The optional 6-function remote controls engine stop, tub rotation, stacking conveyor, and optional tub cover.
The 9013F is powered by a 950 HP (708.4 kW) Caterpillar Electronic diesel engine and is backed up by Caterpillar’s superior service and reliability. The 9013F is capable of grinding trees at the rate of 350 cu. yds/hr (267.59 cu. m/hr) with the 950 HP engine. The engine is housed in an enclosed engine compartment to protect the engine from debris while reducing noise levels.
The 36” (91.44 cm) wide impact-resistant belly belt carries the finished product to the stacking conveyor.
The 36” (91.44 cm) wide by 26’ (7.92 m) long stacking conveyor allows the operator to load material into a truck or onto an existing pile. Additionally, the stacking conveyor swings 50 degrees from side-to-side. An optional magnetic roller and aluminum chute remove ferrous metal from the finished product.

DuraTech Industries International, Inc. (originally Haybuster Manufacturing) was established in 1966, and was initially located in Minot, North Dakota. The founder of the company, Joe Anderson was a rancher and farmer who recognized the benefits of grinding hay for his livestock herd. In the early 1970’s, HAYBUSTER was relocated to a larger facility in Jamestown, North Dakota (now 46 acres and 206,500 sq ft under roof) where extra emphasis was placed on expanding the company’s product line.
